Homecoming 2011-2012
"Friday Night Lights...Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!
The faculty, staff, and students at North Sand Mountain extend an invitation to the Bison Community, alumni and former teachers and administrators to participate in this year's homecoming festivities. The following is the schedule of events with contact information. Make plans now to be a part of this time to celebrate being a BISON.
Homecoming Parade: Thursday, October 20th at 5:30 p.m. cst ...Contact Mrs. Ott or Mrs. Spurgin (597-2368, ext 80040) by noon on Wednesday, Oct. 13th if you would like to participate or for additional information. This year's parade will begin at the North Sand Mountain Park and end at the school.
Bonfire/Pep Rally: Thursday, October 20th immediately following parade. Community invited to attend.
Bison Day Competition: Friday, October 21st , teams from grades 9-12 will compete in the Bison Day Games beginning at 1:00 p.m. cst at Lloyd Dobbins Field. Contact Coach Wilborn for additional information.
**Alumni Reception:** Friday, October 21st in the High School Gymnasium. The reception will be open from 5:00 p.m. cst until the end of the football game. ALL alumni and former teachers/administrators are invited to attend. There will be pictures and a lot of memories on display. Contact Angie Bain (597-2368, ext. 80005) for additional information.
Introduction of Homecoming Court: Friday, October 21st at 6:15 p.m. cst. The 2010-2011 Court will be introduced as they ride their cars around the football field.
Kickoff: The Bison will take the field against the Section Lions and kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m. cst. The 2011-2012 Homecoming Queen will be announced at halftime.
